UNIZIMA and UNIVERCELLS Welcome President of Kenya to Discuss Partnership

Updated: Apr 3, 2023

Our client UNIZIMA, a biomanufacturing and technology services provider, had the honor of hosting HE William Ruto, President of Kenya, and directors from the European Union, as well as Belgian ministers, on a visit to their premises in Jumet. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the establishment of a Training Manufacturing Hub in the Republic of Kenya, with UNIZIMA as the technical and industrial partner. The presence of Elio Di Rupo, Minister-President of Wallonia, and Caroline Gennez, Minister of Development Cooperation and of Major cities, also contributed to the success of the meeting.

The proposed Training Manufacturing Hub in Kenya will provide technical training and skills development to local workers, with the aim of boosting the biomanufacturing industry in the region. This partnership is an exciting opportunity for UNIZIMA to share their knowledge and expertise, and to expand their business into new markets.

This partnership between UNIZIMA and the Kenyan government is an excellent example of how businesses and governments can work together to achieve their goals and create meaningful change. The establishment of the Training Manufacturing Hub will not only help to drive economic growth in Kenya, but it will also contribute to the development of the biomanufacturing industry on a global scale.

We look forward to seeing the positive impact that this partnership will have on the Kenyan economy and the biomanufacturing industry, and we hope that it will inspire other businesses and governments to collaborate for the greater good.
