In order to mainstream climate discourse into discussions about health policy and vice versa, this year's Africa Health Agenda International Conference (AHAIC) 2023 will bring together Africa's top thought leaders, political figures, innovators, researchers, policy makers, health workers, and community mobilizers.
To coincide with Kigali Car Free Day, which is held on the first and third Sundays of each month as part of efforts to make Kigali a green city and boost efforts to battle non-communicable diseases, the conference will begin on March 5 with the AHAIC 2023 Wogging event (NCDs). After that, from March 6 through 8, there will be three days of plenaries, high-level meetings, workshops, and networking events.
