Through funding from the Belgian Development Agency (ENABEL), we were delighted to send one of our experts to train our counterparts in Burundi.
The aim of the training was to improve the capacity building of the health information system, by mastering the District Health Information Software (DHIS2).
The District Health Information Software is used in more than 60 countries around the world. DHIS is an open source software platform for reporting, analysis and dissemination of data for all health programs, developed by the Health Information Systems Programme.
The two week's time training with over 15 candidates, improving Human resources capacity building in regards to the health sector’s expansion of computer applications in Health management information.
